Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to enhance the reliability of autonomous vehicle systems and mining fleets. You will analyze root causes, design scalable fixes, and build robust testing tools to maximize uptime and safety.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive hardware/software, familiarity with AV components, and experience with CAN tools and automotive Ethernet. This in-office role offers collaboration across engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
5+ years experience with automotive hardware and software.
Experience with software/hardware reliability and testing.
Experience with AV components (LiDAR, RADAR, Cameras, etc.)

Responsibilities

Improve reliability of mining vehicle fleet uptime by performing root cause analysis on trending vehicle issues.
Design fleet scalable solutions for long-term fixes.
Create, implement, and maintain testing procedures, diagnostic tools, and metrics to maximize uptime and safety.
Investigate why systems fail on the road and apply findings to improve vehicle reliability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations on reliability improvements with demos and testing.
