Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is hiring an On-Site Fire Protection Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems on large mining equipment. Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma, be able to travel, and have basic knowledge of mining fire protection, with training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel to mining sites.
• Knowledge of mining fire protection systems preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Install and service fire suppression systems on mining equipment.
• Conduct inspections and testing per NFPA standards.
• Document inspection findings, tests, and deficiencies.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Maintain safety protocols and professional client interaction.
