Komatsu Mining Corp. seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to support open-pit mining operations, focusing on electric mining shovels and gear cases. Expect 3G/4G welding, field machining, and line boring at customer sites across AZ, NM, and CA.

This role is on the road six days a week with 10–14 hour days. Shovels, drills, or gear-case experience is ideal; millwright work is a plus for those who enjoy hands-on field work with large equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in maintenance of mining or construction equipment such as shovels or drills.
• Welding and field machining experience highly valued.
• Willing to travel 100% to meet business needs.

Responsabilités

• Perform field service maintenance and repairs on electric mining shovels.
• Change and rebuild major shovel components, including gear cases.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot complex equipment systems.
• Travel extensively to mine sites in AZ, NM, and CA.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and uptime.
