Job summary

Cashman Equipment Co. is seeking a field service technician to repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in the field, diagnose malfunctions, and prepare equipment for delivery.

Communicate findings to clients and management, and prepare detailed service reports. You will travel to remote locations, work overtime as needed, and ensure safety in accordance with MSHA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Demonstrated technical diagnostic skills for equipment and engines.
• Ability to obtain/maintain CDL if required by state or federal law.
• Must meet attendance standards per company policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions and failures of equipment and components.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports and plan repair costs.
• Travel to remote locations and work overtime as needed.
• Provide on-the-job training to technicians as assigned.
