Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. seeks an Equipment Coordinator to provide senior-level coordination and technical support for equipment readiness, maintenance execution, and fleet utilization across U.S. mining operations.

You will partner with operations, maintenance teams, vendors, and asset management to keep equipment safe, reliable, and cost-effective, translating data into actionable improvements that reduce downtime and support project delivery.

Qualifications

• College, trade, or technical diploma in Heavy Equipment, Diesel/Mechanical Technology, Mining Operations, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in equipment coordination, maintenance planning, asset management, or heavy equipment operations.
• Experience with mobile fleets and knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair scheduling.
• Proficiency with ERP/asset management systems and reporting tools; strong data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment readiness, preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and return-to-service timing.
• Monitor availability, utilization, and downtime; identify risks and provide clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with field ops, maintenance, and vendors to maintain productive crews and assets.
• Maintain equipment records, work orders, inspections, and data in ERP/asset systems; audit as needed.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, cost drivers, and reliability improvements; report actions.
