Stantec's Global Mining team is seeking an Engineering Intern based in Chandler, AZ. You will work with experienced practitioners on feasibility studies and detailed mining projects for underground and surface operations.

The internship offers hands-on experience, collaboration with clients and communities, and exposure to safety culture, design, and project meetings to deliver quality results. This role provides networking opportunities and a pathway to future employment.

Responsabilidades

• Engineering and Design: assist with mine designs, plans, or financial models to Stantec Mining standards.
• Collaborative work: Work with a multi-discipline team and attend project meetings.
• General duties: Perform office tasks to deliver quality products on schedule.

Your Opportunity

Our Global Mining team has a need for an Engineering Intern based out of our office in Chandler, AZ. You would work within our infrastructure engineering team in support of various clients in completing feasibility studies and detailed engineering projects for underground and surface mining operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

Health and Safety

• Understanding and working per the requirements of the Stantec Safety Culture. • Working in compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations for Stantec and its Clients.
• Developing an understanding of applicable safety codes, regulations and guidelines.

Engineering and Design

• Contribution to the preparation of quality technical documents, mine designs, mine plans or financial models to Stantec Mining standards.
• Contribution to design and costing of the whole mining cycle.
• Working with a multi-discipline engineering and design team on a day-to-day basis.
• Participation in project meetings.
• Perform various office tasks as required to deliver a quality product on schedule.
