Job summary

Stantec in Denver, CO is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Global Mining team. You will work alongside experienced practitioners on feasibility studies and detailed engineering projects for underground and surface mining operations.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assist in mine design, costing, and technical document preparation, and participate in project meetings to ensure timely, quality outputs.

Your Opportunity

Our Global Mining team has a need for an Engineering Intern based out of our office in Denver, CO. You would work within our infrastructure engineering team in support of various clients in completing feasibility studies and detailed engineering projects for underground and surface mining operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Contribution to the preparation of quality technical documents, mine designs, mine plans or financial models to Stantec Mining standards.

• Working with a multi‑discipline engineering and design team on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Participation in project meetings.
• Perform various office tasks as required to deliver a quality product on schedule.
