Job summary

Careermine is seeking a Mining Engineer for the Thacker Pass Project in Orovada, NV, to plan and track short‑range production through construction and into the mine phase. You will work daily with operations personnel, corporate engineering, and on‑site contractors to plan surveys and report progress.

The role requires a BS in Mining/Geological/Construction engineering and 1–3 years’ surface mining experience, with relocation to Winnemucca, NV as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mining or related field.
• 1–3 years mining engineer experience in surface mining.
• Relocation to Winnemucca, NV preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and track short-range production during construction and into mine production.
• Develop survey duties, produce progress reports and efficiencies.
• Assist in engineering studies such as operating budgets and optimization studies.
• Provide support to operations and maintenance as directed.
