Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking a Drone Operator to supervise unmanned aerial systems for surveying, mapping, and site monitoring in a mining environment. You will ensure compliance with FAA, MSHA, and company safety requirements while collecting aerial data and maintaining records.

The role requires strong technical drone knowledge, ability to work independently in a safety-sensitive setting, and capability to coordinate with mine supervisors and engineers. Night and day shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain site mining and safety certifications.
• Experience with drones in mining or industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections.
• Operate drones in 24/7 mining shifts for mapping and inspection.
• Conduct automated and manual flight missions with data collection.
• Monitor weather, airspace, and telemetry for safety.
• Maintain flight logs and compliance records.
