Job summary

System One is seeking a Cost Lead – SME in Bagdad, Arizona, to serve as the technical authority for project cost management. The role provides expert guidance, governance, forecasting support, and mentoring across mining projects, reporting to Project Leadership in a Project Management department.

The successful candidate will lead project controls activities, coordinate with stakeholders, prepare analyses and forecasts, and ensure adherence to industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
• Mining, EPCM, construction, or major capital project experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with applicable project controls systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support assigned project controls activities for mining projects.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
