Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our employed physician group. The MIGS specialist will focus on pelvic health and minimally invasive surgery, excluding obstetrics.

We offer an employed role with a competitive compensation package, sign-on bonus, loan assistance, relocation support, and CME allowance. Expect 3 days in the office and up to 2 days in the OR, with option for 0.8–1.0 FTE.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide MIGS and pelvic health care, excluding obstetrics.
• Collaborate within Summa Health Medical Group to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participation in education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.
