Overview

The Mini Bar Attendant is responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels in guest room mini bars to ensure guest satisfaction, as well as properly storing and securing all mini bar inventory and supplies at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees at all times.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of guest room layout, locations, and room numbers/names.
  • Check on usage/consumption of products and restock accordingly.
  • Charge for consumption of products according to hotel policy.
  • Ensure sanitation levels are maintained.
  • Clean mini bars inside and outside.
  • Communicate guest needs to proper departments.
  • Handle guest complaints and communicate issues to management.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees and guests.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Approach all interactions with a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude.
  • Attend all required hotel meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain regular attendance as per hotel standards.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and nametag.
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
  • Identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Handle problems proactively, including anticipating and preventing issues.
  • Understand and apply complex information from various sources.
  • Cross-train in other hotel-related areas as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Show initiative by anticipating guest and operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
