Location

The Goodtime Hotel is a newly developed mixed-use project designed by Morris Adjmi and Ken Fulk, offering over 45,000 SF of ground floor and retail opportunities in the heart of Miami Beach. The modern, expansive storefronts can accommodate configurations ranging from 500 to 5,000+ SF of purpose-built retail space with frontages along Washington Ave., 6th St., and 7th St., providing unparalleled branding exposure to the millions of tourists who visit Miami each year.

Overview

The Mini Bar Attendant is responsible for maintaining proper levels of inventory in guest room mini-bars to ensure guest satisfaction and properly storing and securing all mini-bar inventory and supplies at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Attentively, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees at all times.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of guest room layout, locations, and room numbers/names.
  • Monitor usage/consumption of products and restock accordingly.
  • Charge for consumption of products according to hotel policy.
  • Clean mini-bars inside and outside.
  • Communicate guest needs to the proper department.
  • Handle guest complaints and communicate issues to management.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with all levels of employees and guests, in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Attend all required hotel meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain regular attendance as per Highgate Hotel Standards, which may vary according to hotel needs.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and nametag.
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions to improve productivity.
  • Handle problems proactively, including anticipating, preventing, and resolving issues.
  • Understand and apply complex information from various sources to meet objectives.
  • Cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Show initiative by anticipating guest or operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
