Job summary

BBA is seeking a Mineral Processing Leader to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for metallurgical and process design across all project phases. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, support project execution and optimize processing solutions for performance, operability and cost efficiency.

You will play a key role in supporting growth in the U.S. market, with occasional client-site visits, and mentoring junior engineers to strengthen the team’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical, chemical or process engineering.
• 12–20+ years of experience in mineral processing or extractive metallurgy in mining/EPCM environments.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Feasibility studies, due diligence, large EPCM or capital projects experience.
• Strong background in process modelling and simulation tools listed above.
• PE license in AZ/NV or eligible states; travel to client sites as needed.
• Heap leach experience is a plus; bilingual (Spanish or French) is an asset.

As a Mineral Processing Leader, you’ll provide technical leadership and strategic direction for metallurgical and process design activities across all project phases. You’ll oversee multidisciplinary teams, support project execution and ensure that processing solutions are optimized for performance, operability and cost efficiency.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our growth in the U.S. market, particularly in projects involving mineral processing, heap leach and hydrometallurgical processes. You’ll also occasionally visit client sites, support business development efforts and mentor junior engineers to support team growth.

Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical, chemical or process engineering
• From 12 to over 20 years of experience in mineral processing or extractive metallurgy within mining or EPCM environments
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects
• Experience supporting feasibility studies, due diligence work, large-scale EPCM or capital projects
• Strong background in process modelling and simulation tools (e.g. JKSimMet, Molycop, LIMN, Bruno, Metsim etc.)
• Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona, Nevada and eligible states
• Available for occasional to frequent travel (site visits, commissioning)
• Asset: strong experience in heap leach systems (gold, copper or similar)
• Asset: Bilingual (Spanish or French)
