Placements24 seeks a Mine Ventilation Engineer for underground operations near Welkom. You will design, install, and optimize ventilation networks, manage fans and ducting, and ensure air quality, temperature, and pressure stay within safety standards.

With a BEng/BTech in Mechanical or Mining Engineering and at least four years of experience, you will perform airflow analyses, use Ventsim or Minesim, and develop dust and gas control strategies while coordinating with safety and production teams.

About the Role

Our client requires a dedicated Mine Ventilation Engineer to manage and optimize ventilation systems for their underground mining operations near Welkom . This position is crucial for maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by controlling air quality, temperature, and pressure underground. You will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of ventilation networks, including fans, ducting, and dust suppression systems. The successful candidate will bring expertise in mine ventilation principles and a commitment to operational efficiency and safety in a demanding underground setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize mine ventilation networks for underground operations.
