Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Plant Leadman at our Waco, Texas plant to lead the hourly workforce and coordinate with the plant manager. You will ensure work is performed safely and efficiently according to policies and MSHA regulations.

You will train, direct and motivate employees, monitor production goals, and cover vacancies as needed. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of mining leadership, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a mining environment.
• Capable of using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to demonstrate independent judgment, resourcefulness, and effective leadership.
• Ability to solve and identify complex problems in a mine environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate the work of hourly employees under the plant manager.
• Train, instruct and direct the work activity of employees.
• Monitor and adapt processes to accomplish production goals.
• Cover and fill-in vacant positions to meet production needs.
