Job summary

Turner Mining Group seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our mining operations in Kentucky. The role focuses on maintaining equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and productive performance, requiring adherence to Turner Values and safe production practices.

You will work with a crew to inspect, service, and repair equipment while maintaining high housekeeping standards. Responsibilities include completing pre-operation inspections, supporting training, and participating in risk

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Willingness to adhere to OSHA/MSHA regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, days and nights.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks listed in job duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality pre-operation inspections on mobile equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain housekeeping of machines and work areas.
• Assist with training and near-miss reporting.
• Travel to sites as needed to support production timelines.
• Demonstrate safety ownership and lead by example.
