Job summary

EMP Trust HR Solutions is seeking a Mine Operator for a fast-paced, plant-based site in Wisconsin. The role requires strong attention to safety and the ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment while maintaining daily housekeeping and process integrity.

The position follows a 7-on / 7-off schedule, with duties including shoveling, skid steer/compact excavator operations, and cleaning baghouses, silos, catwalks, and the shop.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience as a utility mine operator.
• Comprehends documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Working knowledge of equipment capabilities and limitations.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Overtime may be required based on business and facility needs.
• Understand technical instructions and basic plant machinery concepts.
• Ability to hatch and un-hatch fleet truck lids safely.
• Understand safe workings of machinery and perform small maintenance tasks.
• General understanding of chemistry used in plant processing.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping duties (shoveling).
• Shovel and operate skid steer/small excavator equipment.
• Catwalk cleaning, baghouse cleaning, silo cleaning, shop cleaning.
