Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is actively seeking an Assistant Mine Manager for our Bound Brook Quarry in the East Region. You will support the Plant Manager in daily operations of the pit, plant, and sales yard while upholding a strong safety culture in an MSHA-regulated environment.

Responsibilities include managing safety documentation, work orders, repairs, onboarding, and mentoring staff. This on-site role requires leadership, communication, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work extended shifts incl weekends as needed to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and drive continuous improvement per ARC100 program.
• Assist with daily plant operations and production tracking.
• Manage work orders and repairs on site, coordinating with maintenance and operations.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.
• Mentor and coach site staff and participate in performance evaluations.
