Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Superintendent for its Mining team in Hawthorne, NV. You’ll provide frontline leadership for large-scale mining and earthworks, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution on your shift.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of supervisory experience in mining operations or large-scale earthworks.
• Proven ability to manage production schedules and adjust plans based on changing conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with practical, safe solutions.
• Highly effective communicator across operators, engineers, clients, and leadership.
• Collaborative leader who builds teamwork and a positive safety culture.
• Willingness to travel and remain on site for the duration of mine projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mining and earthworks operations, ensuring compliance with mine plans, safety standards, and policies.
• Optimize equipment utilization, labor efficiency, and resource use.
• Enforce site safety protocols meeting client and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and update production schedules to meet targets.
• Review invoices for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Hire, develop, and manage hourly mine-site employees with the Project Manager.
• Process production changes or scope modifications with client reps.
• Lead planning meetings to ensure equipment readiness and continuity.
