Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to operate heavy mobile equipment at our Canal Point, FL plant. Responsibilities include excavation, grading, loading, and material handling to support plant objectives.

The role requires the ability to operate at least two pieces of machinery, adherence to safety rules, and a dependable, team-oriented attitude. Outdoor work in varied conditions is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs as needed for duty.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mobile equipment (bulldozers, excavators, loaders) to support mining/production.
• Perform pre-shift safety and workplace inspections.
• Haul materials from mine pit to stockpile, plant or hopper.
• Communicate with load/unload areas and maintain safe speeds and plant traffic controls.
• Maintain stockpiles and assist with material handling as required.
