Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator based in the Newberry, FL plant. The role focuses on safely operating heavy mobile equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to support mining and production objectives.

Responsibilities include daily safety inspections, material hauling, and loading trucks while maintaining stockpiles and adhering to plant traffic controls. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to safely operate at least two mobile equipment types.
• Able to work outdoors in varied weather.
• Prompt, regular attendance and positive, team-based attitude.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and government regulations.
• Operate at least two mobile equipment pieces (e.g., bulldozer, excavator, loader).
• Haul materials from mine pit to stockpile, plant or hopper; daily material movement.
• Perform pre-shift safety and workplace inspections.
• Identify safety concerns and report to Supervisor.
• Communicate with load/unload areas and maintain safe speeds and traffic controls.
• Load customer trucks with a front-end loader and manage stockpiles.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
