Arcosa Aggregates in Newberry, FL is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment at our Newberry plant. You will perform excavation, grading, and material handling to support production goals.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, safe material hauling, and maintaining stockpiles while communicating with supervisors and customers. Candidates should be prepared for varied outdoor conditions and safety-centric work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating heavy mobile equipment preferred.
• Ability to perform pre-shift safety inspections and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mobile equipment (bulldozers, excavators, loaders) safely and efficiently.
• Haul materials from mine pit to stockpile, plant or hopper.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain stockpiles and communicate with loaders and drivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all safety rules and plant traffic controls.
