Imerys in Quincy, WA is seeking a Mine Manager to own and optimize operations at a 40-acre DE site. You will lead a on-site team, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and drive safety and production in a remote-friendly region suitable for Pacific Northwest lifestyle.

The ideal candidate has a BS in mining-related field and 2+ years in mine operations or planning, with strong leadership and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and planning tools. TN visa candidates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

B.S. in Mining Engineering, Minerals Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related discipline.
2+ years of hands-on experience in mine operations, mine planning, drilling, or heavy civil/minerals execution.
Strong leadership and communication skills; mentoring potential is valued.
Familiarity with mine planning software, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 15 direct reports across daily surface mining operations, ore control, crushing, and reclamation.
Oversee fleet management, heavy equipment maintenance, utilization, and site logistics.
Develop and maintain short- to mid-term mine plans (1–5 years) with long-term guidance using AutoCAD and planning software.
Conduct aerial drone mapping and stockpile estimations with FAA Part 107 certification.
Manage annual capital and operating budgets and ensure MSHA and environmental compliance.
