Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our field teams in Idaho. You will maintain mining equipment, execute preventive maintenance, and support safe production through proactive problem solving and meticulous work.

The role requires 1–3 years in mining or heavy industry, a diploma in Heavy Equipment or Diesel Maintenance (or equivalent), and strong safety and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Willingness to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements.
• 1–3 years’ experience in mining / heavy industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety systems and processes.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility on daily job duties.
• Diploma in Heavy Equipment or Diesel Maintenance or equivalent education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Assist with hazard identification and safety initiatives.
• Support near-miss reporting and training audits.
• Travel on short notice to support timelines at existing sites (preferred).
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in work areas and equipment.
