Job summary

Capstone Copper at Pinto Valley Mine in Miami, AZ seeks a Mine Maintenance Technician 2 to support fleet maintenance of mobile equipment. You will assist mechanics, perform basic preventive tasks, and maintain shop cleanliness as you develop skills within the technician program.

This is a 7-on, 7-off, 12-hour shift with safety at the core. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
• Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Preferred: CDL with Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Wash, pressure wash, and steam clean mobile equipment before preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in Fleet Maintenance shops and work areas.
• Assist mechanics and senior technicians with basic and non-technical maintenance tasks.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance activities within demonstrated competency.
• Follow supervisor direction and communicate equipment concerns.
