Alaska Aggregate Products LLC. is seeking an Equipment Operator at the Thomson Creek Mine site to operate heavy equipment safely per supervisor instructions, with 10-12 hour shifts and varied hours. The role involves operating front-end loaders, dozers, excavators, graders, and other equipment as assigned.

The position requires the ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks, maintain records, and work independently or as part of a crew in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to read plans, specs and grade control.
• Experience with heavy equipment and routine maintenance.
• Must have high school or equivalent and MSHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely to build, level and excavate land surfaces.
• Perform daily safety checks and document equipment inspections.
• Fuel, oil, grease and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate tasks via radio and follow supervisor instructions.
• Report damage or hazards to supervisor promptly.
