Job summary

The Equipment Operator at Thomson Creek Mine site will operate heavy equipment such as front‑end loaders, dozers, excavators, graders, and compactors safely and efficiently under supervision. • Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with D-6/D-8 dozers and excavators.
• Mine-site equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to build, level, and excavate land surfaces.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks and report issues.
• Maintain and submit daily equipment inspection records.
• Fuel, oil, and grease equipment as required.
• Coordinate with supervisor and use radios for task planning.
• Adhere to safety practices and site procedures.
