Job summary

Wolverine Fuels, LLC seeks a senior electrical engineering and maintenance lead to oversee high‑voltage power systems, control and data collection for underground mining and surface facilities. You’ll drive safety programs, plan electrical activities, and ensure regulatory compliance across surface and underground operations.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent mining electrical experience, 5–10 years in mining, and Utah certifications.

Qualifications

• S. or B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
• 5–10 years of underground and/or surface mining electrical experience.
• Utah Mine Foreman and Electrical certifications.
• Ability to resolve critical electrical maintenance problems.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical and maintenance activities for surface and underground operations.
• Develop safety plans, pre-work exams and safety evaluations.
• Coordinate electrical work with Maintenance Manager and other departments.
• Prepare specifications for electrical equipment and HV transformers.
• Train site personnel to ensure qualified electrical staff.
• Maintain records and develop procedures for the area.
