Job summary

Education Jobs NJ seeks experienced Mindfulness Coaches to support a comprehensive Air Force Human Performance program. The role focuses on cognitive resilience, mindfulness, stress management, and mental performance for personnel in demanding environments.

The coach will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering sessions, conducting evaluations, and maintaining records. Bachelor's or Master’s in psychology or counseling with NBCC NCC accreditation and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling.
• NBCC accreditation/qualification for NCC.
• Minimum two years of professional experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background/security checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide mindfulness and mental-performance coaching to individuals and groups.
• Conduct Human Performance evaluations and identify resilience needs.
• Develop and deliver mindfulness and performance-enhancement sessions.
• Support cognitive resilience, stress management, and decision-making under stress.
• Develop individualized guidance for various occupational and mission requirements.
• Provide practical techniques for independent use during deployment or autonomous work.
• Record assessments, coaching sessions, participant activities, and outcomes.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with Athletic Trainers and Functional Strength Coaches as part of a program.
• Participate in meetings, training, and program coordination.
• Work effectively in field environments and changing operational requirements.
