Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrology and geologic data for planning and design implications.
• Support zoning, ordinance and permit assessments and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics to projects.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
