Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer – Foot Patrol in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves guarding clients across financial institutions and similar facilities, with a strong emphasis on customer service and visible security presence.

The position requires comfort with computers/tablets, the ability to follow procedures, and clear communication skills. Flexible day-time shifts are available, and prior security/customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unlocked doors, and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points and public areas, verify access permissions when required, and assist with orderly visitor management and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document patrol findings and incident details, and communicate status updates to the supervisor and/or site contacts.
