Job summary

Allied Universal in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Security Officer Flex Unarmed to safeguard clients across industries. The role offers 30-40 hours per week with a self-scheduling program and irregular shifts to support client needs.

You will patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle, respond to incidents, complete reports, and assist customers and staff. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aide customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
