Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and ensure facilities run smoothly and safely.

This full-time role involves hands-on leadership across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks, plus developing preventive maintenance, managing work orders, and coordinating with other departments for minimal disruption. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting systems.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs and manage work orders.
• Estimate labor, materials, and costs for work orders.
• Maintain records including maintenance logs and OSHA documentation.
• Supervise and train maintenance staff and ensure safety.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption.
• Support project schedules and determine priorities.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends.
