Job summary

Viking Electric in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to welcome contractors and help them quickly find the electrical products they need for their job sites. In this full-time role, you will take orders in person, over the phone, and by email, greet customers, and assist colleagues in the warehouse while upholding excellent customer service.

A high school diploma and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer skills for entering orders.
• Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and through email
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch
• Collaborate with customers to fulfill order requests
• Load orders into customers’ vehicles or delivery trucks
• Provide product information to customers (training will be provided)
• Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed
