Viking Electric in Rochester, MN is looking for a dedicated Counter Sales Associate to welcome contractors and help them find the right electrical products for their job sites.

You will take orders in person, over the phone, and via email, greet customers on entry, and work with colleagues to fulfill requests. This is a full-time role with opportunities for overtime and growth within the Sonepar family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer skills for entering orders.
• Willingness to learn about our products through on‑the‑job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch.
• Collaborate with customers to fulfill order requests.
• Load orders into customers' vehicles or delivery trucks.
• Provide product information to customers (training will be provided).
• Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed.
