Job Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated assembly team member to assemble, inspect, and package products on an assembly line or independently in a manufacturing facility. The assembler works with a team to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of products while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is consistent, a team player, a great communicator, and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and parts following detailed instructions
• Read and understand the bill of materials and work order instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
• Complete assembly tasks, use various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses (may use cranes and hoists); Responsibilities may also include specialized work such as tube bending and soldering
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies
• Monitor and request materials and components as needed for assembly
• Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED)
• 2+ years of mechanical, assembly or other fast paced operations
• Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to perform varied and complex tasks

Preferences

• Lift a maximum of 35 lbs for an individual and 70 lbs for a team lift
• Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses
• General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook)

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This position will be based at our site in Ivyland, PA; no travel required.
