Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a reliable LMI Parts Assembler for our climate-controlled Ivyland manufacturing facility in Ivyland, PA. You will assemble, inspect, and package products, working both independently and with a team to meet production, safety, and attendance expectations.

The role requires reading BOMs and work orders, using hand and power tools, and following detailed instructions. You’ll contribute to quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement in a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience using hand and power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills).
  • Ability to read and follow bills of materials and work orders.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn JD Edwards for materials lookup.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components per BOMs and work orders.
  • Use hand, pneumatic, and power tools; may include tube bending and soldering.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies; perform adjustments or repairs as needed.
  • Report defects or material issues promptly.
  • Monitor materials and report shortages; maintain inventory records.
  • Meet production targets and collaborate with team for efficiency.
  • Follow manufacturing, safety, and quality procedures.

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated LMI Parts Assembler to assemble, inspect, and package products in our climate-controlled Ivyland manufacturing facility. This role works independently and as part of a team to complete accurate, high-quality assemblies while meeting production, safety, and attendance expectations. The ideal candidate communicates well, follows detailed work instructions, manages priorities, and consistently reports to work on time and ready to begin the shift.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and parts according to bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and detailed work instructions.
  • Use hand, pneumatic, and power tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses; specialized tasks may include tube bending and soldering.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications and established ISO procedures.
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies and complete necessary adjustments or repairs to support product quality.
  • Identify and report defects, material issues, or process concerns promptly.
  • Monitor materials and components needed for assembly, request replenishment, and report inventory shortages.
  • Meet production targets while collaborating with team members to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all established manufacturing, attendance, safety, and quality procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills.
  • Ability to read and follow bills of materials, work orders, and written work instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn JD Edwards for locating bills of materials and related information.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds independently and perform the physical duties of the role.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to maintain consistent, punctual attendance.
  • Ability to work scheduled overtime when available.

Preferences

  • Fully onsite at the Ivyland, Pennsylvania facility; no travel required.
  • Climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Protective eyewear and safety footwear are required.
