Job summary

JENNMAR Services seeks experienced Foremen to lead Millwrights, Welders, and Fabricators on a travel-heavy schedule with some local work. The role offers per diem, company vehicle, and competitive benefits, including a 401(k) plan and certifications within coal, oil, and gas sectors.

Responsibilities include overseeing project work, ensuring safety standards, and directing the crew in installing and repairing plant equipment. Must be able to travel weekly and pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and able to travel weekly
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and platforms
• Able to read blueprints and schematics
• Industrial, steel, iron works experience preferred
• Project management/supervisory experience required
• Clean MVR and valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Project Managers or Management
• Maintain and enforce safety standards
• Move, secure, install, build, load and unload materials, tools and equipment
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and installation of plant equipment, chutes and crushers
• Repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics, blueprints and manuals to make repairs
• Stick weld and use oxy/acetylene torches safely
• Use hand tools and power tools safely
• Prepare and clean job sites
• Assist crew members as needed
• Apply oils and greases as specified
• Perform various physical duties as assigned

JENNMAR Services is currently seeking Experienced Foremen for our Millwrights/Welders/Fabricators crews for Travel Work.

• THIS POSITION IS A FULL TIME TRAVEL POSITION WITH SOME LOCAL WORK, COMPETITIVE PAY, BENEFITS AND PER DIEM
• MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL EACH WEEK TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions from Project Managers and/or Management team.
• Maintaining and enforcing all safety standards.
• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and installation of plant equipment, chutes and crushers
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics, blueprints and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Act torches safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Direct on Cleaning/preparing job sites
• Assist crew member in their duties when needed/ when manpower requires.
• Properly, efficiently and safely apply types of oils and greases according to specification of equipment/job
• Perform various physical duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must have Industrial, Steel, Iron works experience
• Must have project management/ supervisory experience.
• Must have a clean MVR and ability to maintain a valid drivers license.
• MSHA Surface and Underground certifications a plus
