Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking Experienced Foremen to lead Millwrights, Welders and Fabricators on a travel-heavy crew. This full-time role requires weekly travel to various site locations with local work as needed.

You will supervise crews, ensure safety standards, read blueprints, and oversee welding and fabrication tasks for plant equipment. Per diem, a company vehicle, fuel card, health/dental/vision, PTO and a 401(k) plan are included.

Qualifications

• Previous foreman or supervisory experience required.
• Proficiency reading schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with welding and fabrication operations.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Project Managers and/or Management team.
• Maintain and enforce all safety standards.
• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and installation of plant equipment, chutes and crushers.
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment.
• Read schematics, blueprints and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed.
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Act torches safely and efficiently.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Direct on Cleaning/preparing job sites.
• Assist crew member in their duties when needed/ when manpower requires.
• Properly, efficiently and safely apply oils and greases according to specification of equipment/job
• Perform various physical duties assigned

• THIS POSITION IS A FULL TIME TRAVEL POSITION WITH SOME LOCAL WORK, COMPETITIVE PAY, BENEFITS AND PER DIEM
• MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL EACH WEEK TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must have Industrial, Steel, Iron works experience
• Must have project management/ supervisory experience.
• Must have a clean MVR and ability to maintain a valid drivers license.
• MSHA Surface and Underground certifications a plus
