Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking Experienced Millwrights, Welders and Fabricators for travel work across various sites in the U.S. This full-time travel opportunity includes per diem, hotel accommodations and a comprehensive benefits plan.

You must be able to travel weekly to multiple locations, perform welding/fabrication tasks, follow safety standards and read schematics. MSHA certification is a plus, with overtime and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders and platforms.
• Able to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift.
• Background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• MSHA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor instructions and maintain safety standards.
• Perform physical duties as assigned while on site.
• Move, secure, install, load/unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and installs of plant equipment, chutes and crushers.
• Repair and install mechanical parts and read schematics/manuals for repairs.
• Stick weld and use oxy/acetylene torches safely and efficiently.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare job sites; assist skilled tradespeople as needed.
• Apply oils/greases per equipment specifications.

• THESE POSITIONS ARE BOTH FULL TIME TRAVEL POSITIONS WITH COMPETITIVE PAY, BENEFITS AND PER DIEM AND LOCAL POSITIONS

Job Responsibilities for Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Follow instructions from supervisors and/or crew foremen while maintaining all safety standards


• Perform various physical duties assigned


• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment


• Welding and fabrication for repairs and install of plant equipment, chutes and crushers


• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment


• Read schematics and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed


• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Act torches safely and efficiently


• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently


• Clean/prepare job site


• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties


• Properly, efficiently and safely apply types of oils and greases according to specification of equipment/job

Job Requirements Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Must be 18 or older


• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat


• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time


• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift


• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required.


• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.


• MSHA Surface and Underground certifications a plus
