Job summary

Graphic Packaging International seeks a journey-level millwright to troubleshoot and service production and support equipment at our West Monroe facility. You will work with Operations and the Mechanical Maintenance Team to minimize downtime, reading blueprints and manuals to diagnose issues.

We expect 2–5 years in industrial millwright work, a strong safety record, and ability to work rotating shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of industrial experience as a first-class millwright.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Understanding of installing, repairing and maintaining industrial equipment in paper mill or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service production and support equipment safely with minimal downtime.
• Provide technical support in locating mechanical malfunctions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, tables, charts and manuals.
• Align equipment to specified tolerances.
• Repair mechanical equipment including pumps, gearboxes, fans and agitators; welding and burning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
