Job summary

Dauch Corporation seeks a Millwright Technician to perform skilled millwright work in a union environment, keeping equipment, systems and processes operating to support manufacturing production. The role requires extensive hands-on maintenance and installation expertise across hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical prints, and conveyors.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing, with journeyperson credentials or 8+ years of experience in the trade, and the ability to pass pre-employment

Qualifications

• Three to five years of manufacturing experience, preferably automotive supplier.
• ,
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints.
• Experience with metal removal processes and equipment preferred.
• Equipment installation experience required.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication required.
• Proficient in welding - stick, mig, tig.
• Ability to perform rigging requirements.
• Experience in automation of conveyors (power and free) and material handling equipment.
• Ability to work well with others and in teams.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Available to work overtime and flexible schedule as required within union facility agreement.
• Available to work any shift as required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical including drug testing.
• Abilityto pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment, systems, and processes to support manufacturing production.
• Perform millwright work in a union environment as dispatched.
• Support production by keeping machinery in good working order.
