This position pays $30.06 Per hour!

We're looking for a full-time, Millwright Specialist to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Texarkana, Texas

As the Millwright Specialist, here's the work you'll do:
  • Erects structural steelwork, installs production plant and machine shop equipment; locates, sets and levels machines and equipment; operates power tools, welders, cutters and other shop tools.
  • Reads and understands operating instructions. Performs retooling, adjusting, retiming, pressure checks, and test runs of machines to insure that the finished end item is satisfactory in appearance and according to specifications. Debugs automated equipment; makes test runs; sets up equipment for production operation; and maintains automated equipment.
  • May be required to consult with Design Engineers from the standpoint of assisting in the development of new tooling and equipment with the minimum amount of maintenance problems. May be required to consult with personnel engaged in the manufacturing or construction of new tooling and equipment.
  • May instruct and assist other Millwrights in the maintenance of automated equipment.
  • Follows training when work requires collecting, transporting, storing, treating, disposing and/or otherwise handling of hazardous waste and its related documentation. After completion of job tasks, responsible for cleaning up work area.
  • Maintains segregation of contaminated/hazardous waste used in area of responsibility in accordance with prescribed procedures. Receives training as outlined in Company's Hazardous Waste Training Program.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
  • Reads and understands operating instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Performs house cleaning duties in work area.
  • Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
  • Follows all safety and maintenance instructions in the performance of work assignments.
And if you have these qualifications:
  • Completion of training program or equivalent.
  • 3 - 4 years work at journey level.
