Qualifications

  • 3+ years of millwright experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout plans or drawings.
  • Proficiency with precision instruments for alignment and setup.

Responsibilities

  • Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares and measuring devices.
  • Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
  • Assemble and install equipment per blueprints and layout plans.
  • Position steel beams and foundations for machines per drawings.
  • Dismantle machines and move equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to safety, QA/QC and OSHA regulations.

Millwright Pay Range
  • $26-$30/hour
  • Paid WEEKLY
Millwright Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
  • Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
  • Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools. Assembles machines, bolts, welds, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures.
  • Installs machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings, using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools.
  • Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment, using blueprints and schematic drawings, to determine work procedures.
  • Dismantles machines and other equipment.
  • Constructs foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials such as wood, cement, and steel.
  • Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
  • Responsible for adhering to all company safety and QA/QC programs and OSHA regulations.
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
MillwrightQualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a millwright is required.
  • Must have all the required hand tools.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, layout plans, or other drawings is required.
  • Proficient with precision instruments to set and align equipment is required.
  • Certificate of welding ability is preferred.
  • You must be legally Authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. Note: the company does not provide employment visa sponsorship.
Millwright Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently on the job and able to climb in excess of 300 feet.
  • Excessive amounts of bending, stooping, carrying, pushing and pulling of weights up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, a loud and dusty work environment, and able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields.

This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Compliance with this requirement is a fundamental condition for employment.
