Job summary

Standard Forged Products in McKees Rocks, PA is seeking an Equipment Tech/Millwright to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on production equipment and facilities. This full-time role requires flexibility with shifts and a background in heavy industrial maintenance.

You’ll service grinders, forklifts, cranes, welders and lathes; perform routine maintenance, basic electrical work, and fabricate hardware as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a heavy industrial setting.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair industrial equipment (grinders, forklifts, cranes, welders, lathes).
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, greasing, adjustments and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot motor controls and perform basic electrical repairs.
• Repair plumbing and heating systems as needed.
• Fabricate hardware to support maintenance operations.
• Follow safety rules and report abnormal conditions to lead person or supervisor.
• Work on elevated platforms and accommodate shift changes.
