Job summary

IMI Industrial Services Group is seeking a full-time Millwright local to the Athens, GA area. The role installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and equipment in industrial settings, using hoists, lift trucks, hand and power tools to follow plans and drawings for reliable production.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience and NCCER certification or related technical training; must be comfortable working at heights and in indoors/outdoors conditions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial settings.
• NCCER certification or related program preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow drawings.
• Capable of climbing and working at heights in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain machinery per plans and drawings using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
• Apply intermediate math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, calipers, and plumb bobs.
• Work with precision, planning, problem-solving and decisions based on quantified information.
