Job summary

Ferry Cap and Set Screw in Lakewood, OH seeks a Millwright to install, align and maintain machinery following blueprints and manuals. You will weld and fabricate guards and mounts, and ensure precise alignment of bearings, gears, shafts, motors and couplings.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and comply with OSHA standards to keep equipment safe and reliable. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess forklift and rigging certifications.
• Familiar with hot forging, CNC and roll thread equipment a plus.
• Working knowledge of a variety of small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble machinery following blueprints, schematics and manuals and test them.
• Perform welding, machining and fabrication of guards, brackets and mounts.
• Ensure machine alignment of bearings, gears, shafts, motors and couplings.
