Job summary

Isovolta Inc. is seeking a versatile maintenance technician to support the decorative lay-up and continuous laminator areas.

You will process screen printed and coated materials efficiently, while ensuring uptime through proactive maintenance and rapid response to equipment issues. Work may involve framing and construction tasks and operating boiler, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and HVAC systems as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal communication and time management are essential.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
• Willingness to work with production and support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process screen printed and coated materials to lay-up and laminator areas.
• Operate production and support equipment including framing, boiler, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, HVAC.
• Adopt proactive approach to downtime elimination.

Job description

While working within a team setting or alone, responsible for efficient and timely processing of screen printed and coated materials to the decorative lay-up and continuous laminator areas.Responsible for the continuing operation of production and support equipment throughout the facility, including framing and construction work, boiler, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and HVAC systems. Must incorporate a proactive, predictive approach to downtime elimination.

Specific Job Skills:

• Good interpersonal communication, customer service, and time management skills essential.
• Ability to read, write and understand English required.
• Physical ability to hear, to see, to engage in repetitive motion of hands and wrists, some lateral movement of body, some bending, twisting and climbing stairs, standing/walking 94% and sitting 6% of the working day.
• Lift up to 60 pounds independently.

Education and/or Experience:

• Pneumatic and hydraulic training or experience required.
• Fabrication experience required.
• Boiler operation and refrigeration training or experience a plus.
