Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to sustain and repair production equipment in a fast-paced, continuous-run facility. You will perform multi-trade tasks across electrical, plumbing, welding and carpentry while ensuring safety and equipment reliability.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, calibration of pneumatic systems, and adherence to preventive maintenance schedules. Drug screening is required after conditional offer; safety and teamwork are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Basic trade skills in electrical, plumbing, welding, or carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repair of buildings and equipment.
• Maintain and repair a variety of hand and power tools, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspect belts, fluids, filters, bearings, seals, and parts.
• Calibrate and repair pneumatic and other mechanical systems on production equipment.
• Operate a computer that controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checklists and keep records.
